Nijo Norinaga (二条教良)
Norinaga NIJO (1234-date of death unknown) was a kugyo (court noble) of the Kamakura period. He was the second son of Michizane NIJO. His mother was the daughter of FUJIWARA no Takayasu. Some of his siblings were Michinaga NIJO, Morotada NIJO, Kanemoto NIJO, and Tsunemichi NIJO. He was a Major Counselor.
Brief Personal History
In 1234, Norinaga was born as a second son of Michizane NIJO, in Kyoto. In February 10, 1245, he received Junior Third Rank. In Feruary 3, 1300, he received Junior First Rank. Norinaga entered priesthood in 1303. Norinaga's age at death is unknown.
